Dallas' 22-Point Run in the Fourth Quarter Comes Up Just Shy

The Dallas Mavericks gave the Boston Celtics a run for their money in the fourth quarter of Game 2 of the 2024 NBA Finals, but it was ultimately not enough. After trailing by 19 points with just over six minutes remaining, the Mavericks rattled off a 22-2 run to cut the deficit to three.

However, the Celtics managed to hold on, ultimately winning the game 107-89. The Mavericks were led by Luka Doncic's 29 points and Kyrie Irving's 12 points, while Jason Tatum led the Celtics with 13 points.

The Mavericks will now have to regroup and try to tie the series in Game 3, which will be played in Boston on Wednesday night.
